Water & Sewer Renewalsupgrades, alterations & new runs

Some plumbing problems can't be patched — the pipe itself has had its day. Plumbing on the Peninsula renews water mains and upgrades sewer and stormwater drainage across the Peninsula, from the meter to the last fixture, with our own excavation gear. Call 0413 947 906.

What we see

Common problems we're called for

Recurring mains leaks

Fixing an old galv or poly main every year costs more than renewing it once — and every leak soaks the garden or driveway.

Renovations & extensions

New ensuite at the other end of the house? We run the new sewer and water properly the first time, rough-in to fit-off.

Failing old sewer runs

Cracked earthenware that blocks repeatedly is a renewal candidate — often flagged first by a CCTV inspection from our drain division.

Stormwater upgrades

Undersized or broken stormwater that floods paths and garages, re-run and connected to legal discharge points.

How we work

Straight answers, done properly

Water main renewals end recurring leaks and low pressure in one job: a new copper or PEX main from the meter, trenched with minimal disruption and reinstated properly. On older properties it's often the single best-value upgrade the plumbing can get.

Extending or renovating? We handle sewer and water alterations — relocating points, new connections for bathrooms, laundries and granny flats, new overflow relief gullies, and stormwater runs — installed to standard, inspected, and coordinated with your builder's schedule rather than holding it up.

Questions

Water & Sewer Renewals — FAQs

How disruptive is a water main renewal?
Usually a single day for a standard block. We trench, lay the new main, pressure test, connect and backfill — and tell you exactly where we'll be digging before we start.
Do you do the digging yourselves?
Yes — we run our own excavation equipment, which keeps the job on one set of shoulders and the price honest. Tight-access hand digs where machines can't go.
Can you work with our builder on a renovation?
All the time — we quote from your plans, rough-in on schedule and return for fit-off, with compliance certificates issued for the work.
